Am I Pregnant?

  • Maybe you’ve missed your period.
  • Maybe you feel nauseous or dizzy.
  • Maybe you have to go to the bathroom frequently.
  • Maybe you ‘feel pregnant.’
  • Maybe you’ve taken a home pregnancy test with a positive result.

These signs can be indications of pregnancy.  But having one or more of these symptoms is not enough to confirm that you actually ARE pregnant.

The PRC does FREE confirmation pregnancy tests!

Following are examples of conditions that can sometimes cause pregnancy symptoms or give a positive pregnancy test result:

  • Blighted Ovum
  • Molar Pregnancy
  • Ectopic Pregnancy (a potentially life-threatening condition where the pregnancy is in the fallopian tube or elsewhere – not in the uterus)
  • Impending miscarriage

Whether you are considering abortion, parenting, or making an adoption plan, you should have a FREE confirmation pregnancy test at the PRC. Depending on the results, you may qualify for a FREE ultrasound to determine if your pregnancy is developing normally. We recommend that your initial ultrasound be done by someone other than the abortionist or the abortion clinic so that you will have accurate and unbiased information from a non-profit clinic that receives no financial gain from the choice you make.

Depending on your pregnancy test results and your symptoms, we may refer you for emergent medical care.  (Medicaid will often pay for emergent medical care if you have a positive pregnancy test with us first.)  OR, we may refer you to an OB doctor who accepts Medicaid.  If your pregnancy test is negative, we can refer you to an excellent, low-cost medical clinic to have your symptoms evaluated.

We are here to provide accurate information about your (possible) pregnancy or pregnancy symptoms and then connect you to the medical and community resources that you need!
